To book your appointment, we will ask you for:

• Your Alberta Health Care number (located on your Alberta Health Care Insurance Card)
• The type of exam and any special instructions on your requisition form.
• Some health information such as whether you have mobility restrictions, are diabetic or if you might be pregnant.

Exam preparation

• If you call to book, our Central Booking team will go over any special exam preparation instructions.
• If you book online, we will text any special exam preparation instructions to your mobile device.
• If you need to review instructions for your exam, you can find them on our Exam Prep page.
• It is critical that you follow these instructions. If you don’t prepare properly, we may need to reschedule your appointment.

A Revolutionary Leap For Medical Imaging

The first radiology practice in Edmonton opened in 1915. While many imaging providers have opened in the last 100 years, patients have always been forced to book their appointments over the phone or through their referring practitioners’ offices.
